Scoot into the www.vks737.on.net site - go to the WA Roads or CSR links at top - Roy (Whisky 237) does these pages - email link there for Roy - reckon he would know. The car, the boat, the camper, the radios - is that all there is to life ?

Brooks,
Yes, but don't let it out of you sight. I know of several dogs taking Fox baits and suffering a nasty death. The baits are generally placed near gates or some structor (things you would normally stop and have a look at)and have a small sign near by, but dogs can not read and by the time you find the sign it's to late. These baits can be found all along the Canning and Kimberleys.

Regards Big John

My comment is similar to Big John - Yes but No !

One of our party down the CSR had a little 'toilet brush' dog, but it worried us all the time, making sure it didn't get out of site and take a bait.

My brothers partner lost her dog to a bait 100's of kms east of Laverton, and it was on a 5 metre leash ALL the time !! - not a pleasant way to die.

If you take a dog, take a rifle to shoot it if it eats a bait - yes, horrible but true.Subaru Forester
