Great stuff....even if you were driving a FJ cruiser...lol

Great to be able to share those times with your teenage daughter....that would be something rare these days, where other influences keep them away. Times you will cherish.

Brett....

Thanks Brett,

definitely a great trip to do with my daughter - she loved it. Its good to get time away from all the electronic distractions.

What we do now are the memories of tomorrow.

Cheers,
Gaz

Well one of us Patrollers had to bite...

Great vid. I lost all the video of our crossing when our iPhone died right at Mt Dare.

And my son reckons your daughter looks like Miranda Kerr..........

When you drive an FJ ... you feel a little outnumbered where ever you go

I'll let my daughter know .... then get an agent ;)

Thanks,
Gaz

Great video
We may be outnumbered with our FJ, but they prove the critics wrong everytime

Thanks.

Its a great thing to do with your kids - they will enjoy it even though they might be pulled in other directions. Staying in the occasional cabin is a good idea as camping can be a bit draining to a teenager (and us too).

Cameras were a combination of Panasonic compact camera looking out the windscreen, GoPro 2 on the side of the FJ and handheld out the window for some shots and also a few from a Canon DSLR.

Editing software was Adobe Premiere Pro.

Thanks for confirming what I was told about the Mt Dare-Dalhousie :)

How did the rest of your trip go? We had about 20 dirt bikes camp next to us after you left for the next two days on their 16 day trip from Feemantle to Airlie Beach by as much dirt as they could find. They had some great stories.
