Stayed in one of 4 x ensuite caravan sites - Arrived 4pm Wednesday 27 March - departed 9am Sunday 31 March, 2013 Ensuite Site - 4 x nights / 3days (2 x Peak and 2 x Off-Peak - ½
Easter Weekend). Average $34pn. 4 x mild, fine autumn days/nights. Although sited on the
New England Highway, the park was very quiet - no highway noise. 250m walk to RSL, major chain supermarket, hardware store, car dealership and pub. Self-guided Town
Heritage Building Walk available. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Features: Modern, large, heated ensuite / shower &
toilet and source for power and water. Although ensuite site is reverse -in, most powered sites are drive through. There were plenty of trimmed shade trees and whole park appeared
well maintained. As its name implies, Fossicker offered basic gem
fossicking training supported a video, equipment, creek rubble and facilities for a small fee.
