Review: Koonalda

Excellent place to visit and tour around. Access into the cave is not possible but touring around the property and the semi restored homestead is terrific. There are plenty of places to camp including inside the buildings. It does make you think about just how difficult life would have been in the early days. You will need a few hours to really look around and even check out the car wrecks out the back, there are some really old machines in this lot. There are also some well kept rain water tanks should you be short of water (though please be mindful of how much you use/take).
The signs indicate fees are applicable for camping however we were unable to find out where or how to pay.
