The
Mungerannie Hotel is one of those iconic stops in the outback. Full of character and the souvenirs left by travellers (including, bizarrely, a lot of drivers licences!) the
Mungerannie Hotel is an unmissable stop. The wetlands fed by the
bore attract hundreds of birds and are a beautiful sight. There are loads of camping spots under the trees by the water, and the shower and
toilet block is clean and has decent water.
The hot spring didn't take our fancy though,
bore water has an aroma that doesn't appeal to all.
