I have just completed a 1700km trip around the outback of WA. I used
EOTopo on my android Samsung Galaxy S4. I am happy to report that the map detail was excellent and in conjunction with EOtrackMe and Oziexplorer it provided me with all the details required to make this a very successful trip. I found the only confusing areas was the turn off from the
Bullfinch-Evanstone Road to Mt Jackson. The
intersection is taken over by a mining access road. To now access the
Mount Jackson Road you need to go 3.2km past the the original intesection and do a RH turn (travelling N to S), on a minor track shown, to take you back to the
Mount Jackson Road. The section of
Mount Jackson Road, where this minor road connects, and back to the
Bullfinch-Evanstone Road, should be deleted from future map updates. A track plot can be seen on GEORGE.S (EOTrackMe)
