Do I need to use the pump to flush the
toilet when on site connected to the mains, or will it flush on the mains without the pump. No holding flushing only holding tank. New caravan 2013

Hi Andie,
Once on main supply you will have water to all points and the pump is out of use. You will have unlimited supply.

The
toilet works off pump while off mains, but will not flush while on mains only.

My van still needed a step down transformer to run the 12v to engage the flush as my
toilet ran only on 12v dometic, hook up to mains water and give it a go at
home! Ps I didn't have a battery in the van just ran off the car
