Hi Everyone
This may have done the rounds here, but it has not it will make you think what was the outcome. I have always been told that if you have to snatch a vehicle, make sure you always go straight ahead.
If anyone has seen more and knows what the final outcome was, it would be interesting to see what happened to both vehicles.
A snatch recovery that goes pear shape very quick
If I do not get to speak to all my great friends on here before Christmas, have a great Festive Season and all the very best for 2014.
Cheers
Stephen

Looks like a pair of gung-ho rank amateurs to me, who plan nothing, and run at everything like a bull at a
gate. Why would you drive straight out onto tidal flats with an incoming tide not far off - and why would you drive out on tidal flats without getting out and checking the ground? That's a guaranteed way of seeing your vehicle go under the waves.
Why would you snatch and jerk on a sharp angle, when your vehicle is already overloaded to the max, and top-heavy as buggery? If he didn't roll in this episode, you'd only have to wait 5 more minutes.
I wonder if he even understands what a savage sideways jerk does to chassis' and towbars?? He'll be whining in the next video about his rig crabbing down the road.
These blokes are just showing every viewer why a large % of four-wheel-drivers are regarded as just idiots with too much money, and no appreciation of the value of expensive vehicles and equipment. If they were working for me, they wouldn't last 5 mins with their lack of equipment care.
YouTube is full of 4WD idiots. Get a look at the clown ramming the car on
the beach repeatedly.

I'd say that at a certain point, panic overtook stupidity as the dominant influence on decision making.

By your comment I take it you've made that judgement by watching the many shows this bloke has produced over a few years and not just based it on the 2min:35 second clip above.

Hi Ron
I bet that if it was their own personal vehicles, it would have never happened.
It is strange that company and hire vehicles can alway do a lot more things than our own pride and joys.

Nup. I can spot stupidity in seconds. Mind you, I've done plenty of stupid things myself, which gives me some authority in these matters.

Fair enough Bob. I guess I should be admitting to being to having been a bit of an idiot in my younger days. Now days I'm just a silly old far%! I'm trying to think of what the most stupid thing I've ever done was. What worries me is that its probably yet to come!
