Do you recognise these people?

I know how valuable my holiday photos are to me. Someone has lost a card of photos and the person who found it is trying to find them through Facebook and a sharing network. See Facebook

Sorry, I can't upload photos today. If you are not on Facebook please see Who owns this photo?

Quote: Does anyone know or recognise these people?? As we were exploring the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park (Western Australia) this week, we found an SD card full of someone's treasured memories. We would love to get the card back to its owners so please share this post. If the owner could please respond via PM with some details and proof of ownership, we will happily return the card by post.

As a stab, I reckon they might be German.
I wonder how good the Immigration face recognition technology is and if they would 'cooperate'?

Cheers,

Don't give up trying to reunite SD with owners.

A couple of years ago Dennis Niven's son found a camera case with an SD card it somewhere on the west coast. When the family looked at the images they saw a Peugeot 505 driving down the Canning Stock Route in 2010. Dennis knew he had seen those photos somewhere - on my FLYGIRL website. (website since deleted) He contacted me via the website and I put him in touch with Andy's parents and the SD card found its way home.

This year I was taking a stroll down the Canning Stock Route and who should pull up for a chat? Dennis Niven on his solo motorcycle down the CSR.

Life is full of connections, 6 degrees of separation and all that.

I might suggest opening your Facebook security settings to Public so that that album reaches a wider audience.

Best of luck

I don't know why both the Facebook links won't work - perhaps ExplorOz system blocks them.

Meanwhile I'll try again but the same may happen.Facebook link to photo

It works on preview, but it did last time too.

The photo seems to load this time.

Thanks for the ideas so far. I will get my contact to pass this on to the people who found the card via their Facebook page. I am not on Facebook.

I sent one final shout after him to stick to the track, to which he replied “All right,” That was the last ever seen of Gibson - E Giles 23 April 1874

Put a "found" post on Gumtree under "Community" and "Lost & Found".

A lot of travellers look at and use Gumtree, for rideshare and travel partners, for selling and buying cars and campers - and they just might look at the lost and found column, too.
