This park is about to get (next few months) a information sign post in the PArk. It is actually in the
Brisbane River catchment and so is technically not on the
Darling Downs. There exists one large
Grey Gum estimated to be about 300 years old and one of many large fig trees the largest of which is estimated to be about 500 years old.
It is one of the smallest National Parks. It only accommodates day use activities and is delightful for picnics as there is a small open area with table and seating. Apart from the walking track through the almost unique palm ecosystem the open area can accommodate family sporting activities.
