Good afternoon
On Monday morning I ordered a map, of all things, and it arrived from Perth to my front door in Melbourne , in just 51 hrs. Thanks EO , that's just great.

Currently working in China.
They have a site similar to Ebay called TaoBoa. You can buy Chinese knockoffs or name brands including Japanese Cameras (Cannon ES lenses etc). A LOT cheaper than in Australia. Delivery for all items are 3 days or under. If a seller gets too many delivery complaints they are banned from using the site. I to date have never waited longer than 48hrs.
Can also get wheel studs from California to Perth in 4 days.
Last delivery I got from Qld to Perth was 8 days, NSW to Perth 7 days

Australia has a long way to go to get to the same standard as many other countries.

Gotta share my recent experience:

New PC sent from Melbourne by a courier service for delivery to our home, 2km into NSW over the ACT border. Overnight to Sydney, easy. Lost for 4 days in Sydney. Sent Sydney to Canberra easy. Local ACT courier wouldn't deliver into NSW. Parcel returned to Sydney for delivery by a NSW courier. Eventually turned up at the local post office, having been mailed from Sydney back to Canberra! Total transit time less than two weeks.

This is in very marked contrast to goods sent by ExplorOz. In my experience EO despatch is very prompt and delivery very fast.

Cheers

Great to hear you're happy with our delivery service! Just to be clear though, shop orders are despatched from a warehouse in South Australia and has been for the past few years. Membership Packs however are still printed and posted from our Perth office and these go Australia Post.

Sth Aust to Vic in 51 hrs - suddenly not so fantastic. Only had to travel a fraction of the distance you thought it had! That courier must drive fairly sedately.
Seriously - can't complain about EO service - anything I've bought has always arrived promptly enough.
