Hi.. The wife and I want to go on a trip to the top end in our 2008 ford
ranger towing our off road camper. We don't want to go alone and want to take the easy way. Is there anyone out there who would like to plan a trip with us ( No Kids). We are both 50ish

I would like to go but Darling wont give me the time off from my cooking , cleaning , shopping and night duties. Its hard to be retired....

I wish to be up there in May and will be hoping the road is open.I travel by myself with a dog who thinks that i am his pet human.When do you plan going up there?

Hi Pete.
We, the boss and myself, plan to be there some time in May/June, we have no hurry, will be travelling in a 2010 Mitsubishi Challenger with an off road camper.
We are leaving
Sydney mid March, and moving up in no rush.

Hi Pete,
We are also heading up to the Cape and thinking roughly the start of July. We are also in our 50s and have a Ford
Ranger. Wouldn't mind joining up with someone too considering the
feedback we had earlier when we asked the
forum members their advise on going it alone. When are you thinking of going?

Thanks for the reply...We haven't planed anything yet, but will be. Thought I would place a thread in to see what response I get.
We prob wont be looking to go until june or july next year. It's a very long trip for us ( aprox 5000ks one way) and it will take some planning to ensure all goes
well.. It would be great to have another couple that we can help each other if needed...
