God I bought one of those blackridge piles of rubbish from supacheap and it ran like a charfcutter. I took it back once and they said it was fine. I have just rung them again and said I want my money back which they are happy to do. The thing hinted like anything and when it stopped you could not get it started without putting a new plug in it. Anyway my question is where in the Devonport area of Tassie is a good dealer for Honda generators. I need one quick. Thanks.

Evening Kirk L

give Tassie Generators a ring, they are in Launceston but they might have other stores around the state. You will find most Tasmanian businesses very helpful. Their number is 63430077.
Have no affiliation etc etc but have found then OK.
Hope this is some help.

Yes the Honda's are good gear.
Maybe, God will sanction this purchase and make all ok.

Thanks guys. I know god won't help me. Lol I got my money back and there was another guy in the shop saying he had the same problem. DO NOT buy black ridge generators people. Tassie generators price is $1230 and I can get one in Devonport for $1235 so looks like that's the go. Cheers.

If you can afford a Honda ,then the Yamaha deserves a look. Had mine for 6-7 years, starts 1st time everytime, and I beleive it is quieter and lighter than the Honda

I got Honda. Had to move quick as I was running out of batteries and my beer was getting warmer. I am a Yamaha man tho. I ride an R1. I couldn't afford either actually but it's money well spent. The caravan park I'm in charges 12 a night unpowered and 32 powered so it will soon pay for itself. I run on solars but sometimes need topping up. Thanks for your help.

Wow $20 a night extra, some places give you a powered site free if it is only for light use.

Yeah I know. Big difference. That is for two people but same price for one. You could run a house on less than that. I will soon cover the cost of the genset. I hate the prices for caravan parks now. You pay for all the playgrounds games rooms etc which I don't want or need.
