This is a new known
spider, so please take note
Has been found all over Eastern Australia and heading to WA.
Looks similar to a huntsman.
This
spider is in all states so watch out.
Not a good look!!
Please take note of this
spider - it is very dangerous.
Please warn kids and send to every one you know to alert them as
well!
This
spider is breeding at a rate of speed and is found in more and more houses!!!!
Please ensure all the family takes a good look at this
spider.........
.maybe some should not look at the photos of the person who got bitten
on the thumb and the end result.......
But please take note of what the
spider looks like.
So if it looks like a huntsman and you are not sure..........
unfortunately, but for your safety's sake........KILL IT!!!!
Doesn't look like a huntsman to me ??

No worries Bill.
I would advise also treating the link in my Follow Up below something of a hoax as
well. LOL

Love the first
pic which shows the hole in his thumb - presumably made by the
spider's teeth (incisors?) as it excavated his skin in search of something more palatable.
I prefer this story about the
Barzilian Wandering spider, one of the most venomous spidies on the planet apparently (makes you wonder why there are pics of them on people's hands). Every cloud has a silver lining -
check out number 8 on the "facts" list in the link.

A mate of a mate took his family for a picnic in the bush and got bitten on his..arh...member when he sat on a log. Got quite painful and swollen.
His wife took him to the hospital for treatment. Not sure if the rest of the story is true but it was rumored that she asked the attending doctor if it was possible to take away the pain but leave the swelling.
Cheers
Pop

spider bite on her foot with similar damage as those photos, took a long time to heal. very nasty little
spider and they are found every where.
