Stayed in the Motel section March 2014. We were advised by the hotel checkin person that it is permissible to stay overnight in an RV in the Upper Car Park, where there are
toilets etc., at no charge. However, our
cave guide said they don't encourage doing that (it might become too popular!). If you go here in an RV in the quiet season (i.e. not school holidays) then definitely ask at the hotel and get permission to stay. Note that the road out of
Jenolan Caves towards
Sydney is closed to outgoing traffic between 11:45am and 1:15pm to allow tour buses to come down the narrow winding road from
Sydney. The back road to
Oberon is not recommended for articulated vehicles but we negotiated it in our campervan with no problems.
