The 2014
Sydney to London rally starts next Saturday from
Sydney.
Early competitive stages are
Sunny Corner and Canobalas (
Orange).
An international field of mainly classic cars including Porsche, RS Escorts, Volvos, Mustangs, Datto 1600, Stanza & 260z. Even Hilux, Prados & Landcruiser.
First 'leg' is
Sydney to
Perth- then fly to Turkey for the leg to London.
Google the event to see if there is a spectator stage near you !! Could be of interest.

My dad was in the London to
Sydney in the 60's think it was 68 he did not finish the hillman hunter that won it was in our garage for a short while it had a sumbean engine in it

I reckon it was '67, but I might be wrong too.
Margaret and I drove our Mini from
Adelaide and camped in
Brachina Gorge in the
Flinders Ranges to see them all go through. It was one of the special sections.
