Whilst recently touring Tasmania we met a couple from Bulahdelah NSW and they told us about a new Free camp area that had been set up since the new freeway bypass was opened. Unfortunately we forgot to get their contact details or the location of the camp area. Can anyone help with the details please.

when you get to the southern end of the By pass follow the signs for Bulahdelah and you will find it on the river just before the bridge

Yes that's right, the Great Lakes council must be serious about this, they have built a new toilet block on the northern side of the old bridge, right beside the old road,
The free camp was fairly full last month, I would think it will bring some trade back to town now the Bulahdelah bypass is in.

Yes we did a stopover there a fortnight ago and the place was full
Great for the township, shame the pub meal we had there was only fair but we did our bit
