Has any one been to the Ninghan homestead lately and if so was there much water around , we are going there in couple of days for a look around and a bit of camping . If any one knows of any good spots to camp the night , that would be good or we will ask the owners at Ninghan when we get there .

Steve,
I have not been there lately so can't help with the water question. A group of us (4 vehicles) were there last Easter and had a ball. Did not do too much, bit of exploring in the vehicles each day. Stayed for 3 nights. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. Just ask and they will give you the directions and a map. We stayed about 20km from the homestead at a very big rock. Can't remember the name. Brick bbq and all. Need to be completley self sufficient, no water available, plenty of wood though. We will be going back, hopefully during the wildflower season.
