Madigan Line Trip July

Hi all,

Heading along the Madigan Line in July; starting from Old Andado on or around July 2nd. Anyone else heading across then? 2 Defenders, 1 Rangie and 1 LC100 in our group, all very well prepared.

Our group is doing a reverse Madigan starting from Birdsville and heading towards Camp 8 then we will head south to GeoSurveys Hill and then to to Geo centre, this will be our third trip into the Nth Simpson starting out next week, information from Adria Downs lists conditions as very dry.

Vic Widman has just finished his Madigan line tour.

Many thanks, would be very interested to hear how that all goes; particularly to jaunt out to GeoSurveys. We are giving that consideration but mindful of time, fuel etc. Will you take QAA line/Hay River to get up to Madigan and on to Camp 8?

QAA line Hay river,maybe a side trip to Camp 20 on Adria Downs as last time it was well under water.

Hi Patrick.
We have a party of 4 cars that will be doing the ML late June early July. We did the same trip last year but want to spend more time doing it this year. You will enjoy it.
