Hi

Some weeks ago, I posted requesting information about replacing injectors on my 120 Prado. Following this feedback from members, I made contact with O'Brien's Diesel in Sydney and after a short discussion, ordered 4 injectors. They arrived in western Victoria within 18 hrs!

Fitted to the Prado, sent the old ones back and refunded 50% of the initial price ($2200) as promised. Although only done about 1000 km on the new injectors, noticeably quieter than it ever was even when new. Also, much better economy!!

So thanks to ExplorOz members for advice, thanks to O'Brien's for great service but brickbats to Toyota for failing to recall and replace injectors in the early 120's as was done elsewhere!!

cheers

Hi

Glad to hear it turned out ok for you.

Did you check the pickup screen for the oil?

Hi what sort of fuel economy were you getting and what are you getting now? I have an 04 120 and its never been really that good but its also had mods that dont help either!
Big tyres, lift kit, snorkel.
