Review: EOTrackMe

My Article Rating: My Rating 2/5

Have just returned from a 5 week (37 days) journey to the Kimberley, running uTrackMe app on an iPhone to update my EOTrackMe profile on the server.
Worked pretty well except for a couple of issues.
Firstly, the tracking data showed a quick zip from Broome down to Perth and back to Derby, which we definitely didn't take.
Secondly, another quick straight line zip is displayed from Katherine (I think!) across to Brisbane, down to Melbourne and back to Katherine. Another side trip I didn't make.
This time, to avoid losing the tracking data, I save it tonight after returning home. What I wasn't aware of is once you do this, the real time tracking plot that all our friends and relatives have been referencing, immediately disappeared and they can not longer view the track file, regardless of how accurate (or inaccurate) it may be.
Please be aware of this before you promptly save your tracking data.
