My son wants us to meet him in Hawaii for Christmas (lucky us). We live in outback QLD and need to fly out of Brissie. The flights from home to Brisbane are almost as much as the flights from Brisbane to Hawaii!!!
So we are looking at other options. One is to drive (two days) our camper trailer and then store it for the week until we get back. As we plan to then continue on with a camping trip around some uncovered ground this would actually work well. I know that "google is my friend" when it comes to finding a place to store the rig for the week we are in Hawaii; but I also thought some one here might have personal recommendations, as with google results you do not always know what you are getting. Obviously handy to the airport would be good but not necessary. Does anyone have a place they use or could recommend, cheers! Fraun

Why not check the parking stations near the airport that drop you off and pick you up. For a bit extra you should be able to leave both vehicle and camper.

We live near Beenleigh (about 50 minutes from the Airport) and we use Budget Airport Parking at Hendra.
Their number is 3100 2800 and it would be worth a call to ask them about your vehicle and trailer.
If they cannot store the trailer, you could park it here on our farm near Beenleigh if that helps?
Cheers,
Phil.

Phil/Fraun,

Bit of a coincidence. We pulled up at a set of lights this afternoon, opposite Budget Airport Parking, thought of this thread, but only managed to get part of the name written down. Phil has kindly prompted my thoughts.

They also have shuttle bus pick up, and a very big shed, judging by Google Earth.

I can Recommend
Mr Caravan Storage
55 old Wharf rd
Pimpama
Ph 0402 246 767

Its a bit out of town, but easy to get to cheap at $2.00 per day and he will drive you to the nearest railway station, and pick you up if you negotiate with him.
Cheers
Les

G'day Trible A
You could try Storage King, go on internet site for their web page www.storage king.com.au
We stored our caravan in Sydney for $8.00 a day, which was under full security 24/7
Good Luck.
