Good afternoon all,

It's raining here in Tamworth as I type but there has been no rain out along the Darling for some time now. All of the unsealed roads out that way are currently closed but with the sun out and a bit of wind they should (we all hope) that they will be open by Saturday.

I'm leaving work as soon as the rain stops to go home and finish packing the 4x4 and the camper. We are leaving Tamworth Saturday morning so hope to be at Trilby by late afternoon.

Looking forward to meeting both old and new friends. Travel safely

Cheers

And about bloody time we got some rain, too!

These coastal types have NFI how dry it has been! Since July 2001, we have had just 3 years with above average rainfall, and none of them were greatly above, and July-June 2003/4 we were 300+mm below average (and the average is around 650mm).

10mm today will help, but not enough!
