We too use Aussie House sitters. If you browse through you will find that a lot of the sitters are grey nomads travelling around in their own van or motorhome. Many are flexible and will stay in their van or in your home according to your needs.

we just came back from holidays and found a couple to house sit the property and feed the animals and they stayed in their fifth wheeler. just had to provide power and water. we found them on Grey Nomads. All the persons we looked at all had police checks and references.
