Need help from a member living in Melbourne. I am driving from Perth to Melbourne then catching the ferry to Devonport sailing on the 29th March this year. Because I can get cheap diesel from a source here in Perth I will have a 44gal (205 litre) drum and pump with me that I cannot take on the Spirit Of Tasmania and I would like to find someone I can leave it with for 11 days. The drum will most likely be empty (or very close to it) when I hit Melbourne and I'm sure some kind of "Kimberley Currency" renumeration can be arranged. I don't have a long range tank installed in my vehicle and last time I passed through places like Balladonia diesel was well over $2/litre ( and that was several years ago) so I'm bringing it with me. Any help greatly appreciated.

Yep, I'll be boarding the ferry with a full tank-every little bit helps. Just wish I had the long range tank already installed.

Mate I can see the ferry from my place. That may make me a handy port of call as you pass. Send me an MM with an email address and we'll exchange details if that suits.

Cheers
