I did read on another forum that they had been put into receivership, but still trading.
I don't know if this is true or not, but your post does seem to confirm something is going on.

MySwag forum has had a thread about this for several days now...it appears to be the case that they no longer trading, so no draw systems available from them either now.

Rumpig, you used the word "either". Is there another drawer system maker who has gone under?

the original poster was mentioning they couldn't get a cargo barrier, so i just added in the part about their draw systems wouldn't be available to purchase anymore also...i think you are reading extra into what i wrote then what i meant, as i didn't mean anymore then that...cheers

Hi all,

I live local to their manufacturing store and have noted that the site is for sale. Sad to see that they have left the area. Blackwidow has provided fantastic products as well as local employment.

Cheers Kerry

It is a shame to see any business fold but after my experience with them at the last Sydney Show at Rosehill then no wonder they are gone.
I got a quote (written on their brochure) and when I went back to order it was a different salesman and quoted a much dearer price.
When I showed him the written price on the brochure he would not stand by that quote. The first salesman I had spoke to had left for the day.
I just ended up walking away and they actually done me a favour as I ended up getting an ARB set of drawers for my BT50 at a much cheaper price and I am very happy with them.
As I said it is a pity to see any business fold but I think if this was how they operated in my case no wonder they went under.

There was an ad in yesterday's Age advertising the business assets for sale, as it is in liquidation. They're selling their CAD drawings, IP, customer database, trading and domain name. Plant and equipment to be sold on Feb 24th. Might be resurrected.
