Hello all. As a newbie owner of a 2nd hand goldie storm I could really do with a copy of the owners manual. Also hoping someone can tell me about the electrics. Has 12v and 240v but I can't see how the 12v is powered. The mains water inlet is stuck. Any tips on getting it open? Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Great camper but the wiring leaves a lot to be desired.

Mine was a bit later but there was a 12V charger under one of the seats. Does your battery voltage go up when plugged into the Mains? It had a 12V anderson plug for the car.

Also the fridge was on a a seperate 12V line through the 7 pin plug.

Not much I know but I hope it helps.

Kirsten,
We have a 2010 Goldy Storm RL (reverse layout) and you are right, the wiring and plumbing are not easy to work through.

Best to try talking to Goldstream support (at service@goldstreamrv.com.au) with your questions.

I can tell you that the 12v comes from the house battery. 240v comes from the "shore" power plug/cable via a RCD which is hidden under the triangular "lift-up" behind the cooktop. There is a fuse block which is inside the cupboard behind the seat of the dinette.

If you need a rough diagram of our setup, pm me and I'll send a scan.

Cheers
John

Kirsten,

I have a Goldstream Storm 2014 model, but the user manual did not cover the electrical circuits.

I emailed Goldstream Support and they answered promptly with an Electrical Diagram in PDF format.

I'm sure, if you send them a query they will respond.
