Comment: The Pilbara - The Magnificent Hamersley Ranges and Wittenoom (Hamersle

Good read as always Mick. Wished I'd known about the grotto when we visited Hancock Gorge. Kerry wouldn't allow us to visit Wittenoom she has the same views as Scotty. Went there as a kid and played in the heaps of mined asbestos like most kids did back then.
There is a track out from Karijini that takes you up above the old mine workings that provide spectacular views.

Cheers

Got to die of something Duncs, may as well be of misadventure lol. That road is now impassable. We traced it on the quads and then down the eastern catwalk into Bee Gorge. My god that was a quad ride to remember. Michael J, who had stayed back at camp, swears he heard the metallic "clang" of our bums slamming shut with fear from a distance of 7 km. I'm just in the throws of getting the clips together for that one up as I want to post it with the video. It's the only way to really do it justice. Thanks for the comments.

Regards to Kerry. Mick
