Anyone interested in a get together over the long weekend in June (12th,13th&14th) camping on the Murray probably between Loxton and Berri Sth Aust. It may clash withVKS Broken Hill gathering but not everyone will be there. It's about 260k's from Adelaide or 160k's from Mildura. If there is enough interest I'll arrange an area on a sandbar, plenty of room and fires are OK at that time of year. Weather will be fine as it never rains up here unless you bring it with you.
Might need a beanie and a bottle of Port for the nights though.

I don't have a beanie, would two bottles of port be OK. ; ) If my fishing club doesn't have a trip that weekend I might head up there.

Its a bit sedate around there unless you have a tinnie or canoe etc. Sunset is only 30minutes away so a drive around there would be easy to arrange,

I might just drive down and come and annoy you !!!! Maaybe we can have a sandpulling competition. Tie two vehicles together with a snatch strap. Yes, I know thats dangerous but why not? The one who gets bogged first, wins.............

You can come Willie, as long as you bring Uncle along.
I'll find a nice big tree stump and you can have a go pulling that.
See you about 7.00

I did an analysis on the Member Rigs page to see if there was more of a Toyo bias among SA members that might explain it. Here are the results

State Toyota Nissan
ACT 4 1
Intn'l 5 0
NSW 38 40
NT 2 0
QLD 27 15
SA 15 10
Tas 1 1
Vic 36 24
WA 35 31
Totals 163 122

Don't know how the table format will turn out!

Out of 356 member vehicles, 285 are Toyotas or Nissans!

Des, it looks like fun but will have to decide a few other things first. Navigator saya I just decide when we get to the gate, - left or right. Sinful buggar reckons that is my sort of planning........
