The homestead at Quanbun is still pretty much as it was the old kitchen and the saddle room have been preserved by the present owner for visitors to get an idea of what it was like in those early days , they have also built some self contained quarters for anyone who wants to stay over and take a break in their journey but I think that visiting is restricted to the winter months as it is not unusual for that area to have flooding during the wet
Those early explorers were pretty tough people.
