Comment: Lake Eyre and then where? (Part 5 National park Gems West of the Great

There certainly are Val, its a great area with many small out of the way places. A couple of years ago we drove to Sydney from Central Vic but went 'the long way' over the hills and fire trails of the Alps before coming out at Nowa on the coast. Fanstatsic and a little challenging as well, it took us 5 days to get there. The point I'm making I suppose is that you need to get off the highways and onto back roads and through small towns to appreciate the areas beauty and to find those extra-ordinary spots.
