Hi Motherhen,
A very good report on an excellent part of magnificent
Kakadu. When we
visited there in 2001, yes we have to swim, I guess about 600 meters (may be more) to get to
Twin Falls, using a car tube between both of us it was a memorable part of our journey. We also swum in the plunge pools at both
places. Unfortunately the last time there (2010) we had two children (5 and 6 yrs) and used that as the excuse not to visit
Jim Jim Falls - I'm certain however they would have left us
well behind in
the rock scramble despite the oppressive muggy heat of that year.
Kakadu remains a gem in our minds and we will return again.
