Interesting reading, don't know how you do it.
You should have phone reception nearly all the way down the East Coast, due to the terraine there will be some areas where there is none, will be ok at
Binalong Bay (North Cosey Corner),
St Helens,
Bicheno,
Coles Bay,
Swansea, Triabunna and
Orford.
Once you leave
Orford will be patchy.
Enjoy the walk and the scenery, the East Coast is fantastic.

I found some Optus reception at
Binalong Bay by walking north along
Grants Lagoon. Thank you for the information about reception down the east coast. It really does help being in touch with friends and family.
