gee nice photos that brought back very good memories of K Is
i went there in april 2005 in my brand new diesel vw golf
and went to all pts and beaches without any problems
went to
admirals arch and then to vennachar pt and back to the short cut across flinders chase nt pk to the
cape borda rd and the cape 2 wheel tracks on some of it and some light horregations but being an ex cockie found the going easy with a bit of common sense tactics vw only has 115mm clearance so stradled the wheel tracks to vennachar pt to avoid scaping
its one of the best nation pks i have ever been too with so much diversity and different thing all on one island i;m pleased to see they have upgraded some of the veiwing platforms since i was there
love that place and will go back for a longer visit next time
only had 3. 5 days last time but did see it all with 12hr days it was still an enjoyable visit as long days and lots of driving dont bother me
Ian Read didnt include K I in his book of " roaming in australia's national parks "
but maybe he has done a seperate one on K I
cheers barry

Hi Barry
Thanks for those great comments, appreciated. KI is a great place and our last visit, we were there for 14 days. Even the road out to
Cape Borda had greatly improved since our first visit.
Cheers
Stephen
