Tyre Pressure Monitoring System - TPMS Australia brand

As an adjunct to the Blog from Micko (Nov. 2011) this blog is an awareness for users on the TPMS Australia tyre pressure monitoring system.

Good research and test Bill. As you point out, it's main job is to alert you to an impending major issue such as your tyre going flat and it will no doubt achieve this. Can the TPMS be set to read/display more than four tyres? Do they have a larger model to cover vehicle and caravan for example.

Hi Mick,

Yes, additional sensors can be added by entering their sensor ID.
The system allows monitoring up to eleven wheel positions.

By default, the monitor displays 4 wheels, but selective programming can also display the spare and a single or dual axle trailer/van.

At this stage I am somewhat reluctant to add extra sensors for my camper, at least until have observed it's performance/accuracy some more.
