Hi David, Sounds like a great trip. Things hopefully may have changed in
Karumba but when we were there are few years ago the place was packed solid. There was an overflow
park (very busy) at the golf club but to get in there you had to get a piece of paper stamped by the caravan parks to say they had no vacancies. Weird system.
Kakadu will need a bit more time I think - its a big place. As others have said, you can't see it all in a month, and you wont need a winch for that loop - or probably ever.
