Hi Hugh....sounds like a good plan. Top of my hubbies Bucket List is
Cape York also and we too are heading up there in June/July 2014 from
Brisbane....not as far to drive as you though. We will be towing a Camper Trailer with our Nissan Patrol, I am just now starting to plan the trip with where to stop and what to see. Who knows we may even cross paths along the way. Happy Travels!!

Yes we may end up
camping together. I think my vehicle will stand out where as the Nissan will fit in. Look me up if you see me. I have found the Hema maps for
Cape York very interesting, showing so many tempting tracks, I may never go home. Hope to see you on the track.
