Has anyone out there towed a caravan from Armidale to the coast over the
Dorrigo National Park Waterfall Way, How steep and windy is it ?
Cheers

Both steep and windy and sensible to drop down in gears at the top and come down in 2nd or similar

But absolutely worth the trip!
We get over to
Dorrigo fairly regularly, and the National Park is
well worth a visit. Turn left just after the town - about a km past the caravan park (which is basic but friendly).
Do it!!

Laden semi trailers, school buses etc go up/down the
Dorrigo all day long, the steep windy bit is only 7-10km between
Bellingen &
Dorrigo
The rest of the drive is easy, we tow a 1.4T camper trailer

They certainly do but the OP is being sensible asking what the conditions are like.
Much better to be prepared than run out of brakes halfway down.
It is narrow and windy and wouldnt like to meet a semi on some of the corners when pulling a large van.
