Hi Jim,
We love looking for birds, watching them, photographing them while we are on a road trip. Last 4 years we have been to
Cape York, the
Kimberley,
Savannah Way, outback following Burke and Wills trek. My husband has taken heaps of great shots, too many birds to mention here! Adels Grove was a great spot for birdwatching. One of our best birdy moments was at Aurora Caravan Park at
Kakadu - right above our camper was a pair of Barking Owls. Wow, How exciting! He got some great shots and some good video, although they were pretty sleepy at the time after being up all night. James has a lot of gear he lugs around as
well. He has 2 Canon's, extra lenses, big tripod. He loves it.
Safe travels, hope you get to see lot's of interesting birds, am very jealous!
