Andrew & Jenelle arrived safely this afternoon and whilst A. was putting up the camp the kids couldn't wait to tell me that ANDREW GOT BOGGED LAST NIGHT and Jenelle and the kids had to dig him out. You heard it first and last her 4BDV Birdsville!!! He is going to log on tomorrow apparently and has withdrawal symptoms from not having a "hit" for a couple of days. be ready for him. The devil made me write this post. LOL Hehehehehe. Pesty and Mrs Pesty are still here and we are all having Dinner together tonight - after the flies go to bed - outside under the full moon.

Ruth,

You be very very careful of Pesty after dark!!! He's likely to get up to all sorts of unspeakable tricks. I'm just jealous that we're not all there too. LOLOLOL

It's a bit of a worry for me having a name like "roach" and then having a mate who's got "pest exterminator.....spiders, roaches, etc etc" plastered all over his cruiser's windows, eh??

Have a great dinner tonight.

Cheers,

Roachie

Gee...the Birdsville Goss Grapevine travels fast.

Anyway...if you want to see a piece of real art click on my rig pic. Lots of comments and mostly kind ones...hahahahaha

Our exhibition is going well and it is a hit amongst the locals who were a bit apprehensive about it at first. There has'nt been and art expose here on the edge of the outback for 50 years. We have alos included the young and the very young artists and that has been popular as well.

Regards

The artist merit lies in the fact that an extraordinary amount of time is taken to get the bird to do it in the right spot....hahahahaha

Andrew Andrew Andrew. What have you done. You are in the middle of Australia, surrounded by rocks, no water in sight and you got bogged.
You have put your lovely family at great risk and then you make them dig you out.
Oh Andrew, what are we to do with you.

Ruth, I would have thought Pesty would have cured the fly problem for you. You have an EO members card and that would entitle you to extraordinary discounts for Pest Control work.

Good point, never thought about using my EO card - only thought everyone would use theirs against me. Will need to use it today because Andrew was whingeineg about the red back spiders - told him to be quiet otherwise all the campers will want them on their toilet seats. Big sook. Can't type = bit tired they wouldn't go home until midnight. We had happy snaps on the computer last night after dinner - I know who you all are and what you look like now. LOL. Loved the video of LD and the emu.

Ruth,

You now have us at a disadvantage knowing what we all look like and we do not know what you look like.

We still think that you have blonde hair tied up in to a bun, wearing a tennis cap, short of stature with a teatowel impression dress and black plastic thongs, a bum bag around your waist and a broom in your hand.

That Andrew will be paying for his sins in the future.

I hope the Scorpions attack Andrew for eating all the yabbies. LOL

Des Lexik - you forget that I already know what you look like - I remember when you were here - filthy dirty and wanting showers! Yes, I saw ALL the photos. The scorpions nearly did attack him. LOL and the yabbies definitely did.

Ruth, Everyone who comes to meet you is dirty and wanting showers. Then immediately after they meet you they want a tub to scrub up and make a better impression.
I bet willie camps out of town first to scrub up before he meets you.LOL

Ruth,

Weather report for Andrew, 0.2mm rain overnight, clear and sunny today, wind in NE, and expected temp today 40 degrees. Fly rating - mild(only 6 per person).

Willem's not too bad in his description of you, but not close enough to win a prize today.

Hooroo...
Seen it all, Done it all.
Can't remember most of it.

Seeing as you know me Bob, it's only fair that you tell Willem that his description is very close to the truth! Andrew and Jen have gone to put the yabbie pots in, then Big Red, then Museum, then late arvo drinks & bikkies on Dingo Caves watching the sun go down (plenty of clouds so should be good sunset) and then watching the full moon come up. That should be nice. Have told them ALL about you - how lovely you both are (L. anywayLOL) and how much they will enjoy their trip up there. Andrew is excited - the Dying Floctor is here today for Clinic run.!
Good about the rain drops. Jenelle is coping very well with the flies (8 per person here) Innamincka apparently wins hands down with 500 per person! The causeway is now open to 4WD. Plenty of people coming through here. Toodlepip.

Jeez - away from the computer and all this misinformation. Towed the camper down onto the sand at Kalamurina station on the Warburton Creek and started digging in so had to let the tyres down a big. No damage and only a couple of minutes digging - makes a good story though. Saw a damaged fourby on the way up here - looked Berri dinted on the front panel.

"Bravo Ruth" - this really is a great place and we have been really looked after well. Tomorrow we move on to Diamantina lakes for a couple of days. Yabbies were great for dinner last night. Life is good. Good to catch up with so many people. Even ran into some folk who camped at Dimboola when we were there for the Exploroz gathering on the Little Desert weekend and our kids played together. They had never heard of Exploroz though.

Great to be travelling.

Cheers to everyone. The dirt on everyone will start when I get home.

Andrew

Pesty and Glenda left at dinnertime yesterday (but not with yabbies). Glenda was feeling the heat a bit as the a/c in the 60s stopped working! They were headed to the outdoot spa at Clayton Wetlands for the night. Just because he can't sleep until after midnight he tried to keep us all up. We, Ian and I and Andrew & Jenelle were in bed by 9:00 p.m. last night - exhausted from socialising. Couldn't fit in the back seat of the 60s because I wanted to go to Coffin and eat oysters for Easter. Have a good one - bet it's colder there than here. Nice today though.
