Hi guys,
We the time has finally come, and tomorrow we hit the road for 6 months. We are leaving
Adelaide and heading for the Victorian High Country, before heading north up the East coast, then inland to see Ruth in
Birdsville. After the
Birdsville track and the
Oodnadatta track, we might try the
Anne Beadell highway. Then, after a bit of rest and
recreation in Mt. Magnet, we'll go over to
Steep Point just so we can say we have really travelled from east to west. We haven't any firm plans after that, but
Ningaloo Reef,
Broome and the
Gibb River road are looking good
If you see the troopie with BOAT as the rego, with a Challenge CT, say gooday.
Thanks to all of you forumites who have given us advice in the last few months. Where would we be without you!
Looking forward to meeting other members as we travel around (and taking Andrew and Jen's advise about using our exploroz
membership card )
Happy travels and see you around
Anne

Hi Michael,
We don't particularly have a UHF channel. Perhaps we had better stay on channel 10 as Ray says. Thanks for the good wishes.

Hi Des,
Riverland tomorrow night, but only passing through this time. As for the exploroz stickers - one each side of the troopie, so you won't be able to miss us!
I'll try to send a bulletin from time to time, after all we have the technology.
Cheers
Anne

Don't forget your Exploroz card - as we said it works a treat in lots of different
places. Asked for a discount at the info centre in
Birdsville and they look at me blankly. I said, "
Well Ruth takes it" Didn't help though.
