Great to see something like this being launched on ANZAC day , just spare a thought for the blokes that made this great open land free to roam around and count ourselves lucky its still called Australia.

Theres been one in Melbourne for years, it had the largest listening base of all the weekend shows they had. So Logically they assholed the show!

Its now on another station on FM, not sure where though

100.9 Fm is a country music station and a good one at that....Nothing like good country music.... Anyone going to Moora this weekend for the camp out?

Hello Uppy, Moora is about 3 hours Nth of Perth on the in land road and was hit by the remains of a Cyclone about 3 years ago... Lee Kernighan did a concert there to raise funds for the town. This year is a four day event with Speedway on Friday night, bush races, ute comp and the concert on the Saturday day night featuring the Kernighan children- Lee and Tania. Should be a great weekend. For more details -www.moorapromotions.com.au

Regards

Mark

PS. Have no association with the event but given the rural segment has been doing it tough... like to support

Is this a "commercial" radio station? Maybe in return for using the ExplorOz site to get publicity for the show they will run adverts for ExplorOz?

Michelle, It is a commercial station but on the lines of "Sunshine FM" . It has sponsors rather than "advertisers". Lottery West is a sponsor, ARB do a bit. Should have a listen and see what you think....
