looking at doing some tracks over easter or week after .
i want to see aberfeldy to walhalla .
few dramas are my map one says no link of champion spur to to fiddlers green but another map says it is there? wtg!
probably start to mt skene turn off to snake edwards and go down to holy lands link track to lazarini spur then down onto black river tk over the goulbourn to champion spur then down to Walhalla rd to Aberfeldy then onto Walhalla.
maybe even snake edward divide track from off from woods point rd?

or would mt useful spur be a better option or a good route if weather turned sour?.

have done a few tracks around lazarini, snake edwards and black river /woods point , but need a little more info as stuff all on maps about these tracks.

You may want to check the river levels in the area, as holylands link trak, and snake edwards track can be deep, [over the bonnet and fast flowing] after rain and during winter.

If going to Fiddlers green, plenty of options, and some old mining gear in amongst the bush in the area.

Mt Sunday/Mt Mckinty isnt a bad drive, and some views as well, in the area, and N15 is a good track, excellent when wet ;-)

rain depending river levels are do-able now at the crossings on the goulbon and aberfeldy.

Done black river mid winter with no dramas (well not to many!)

its all weather dependant !

Check Rudi Paolettis site

http://users.netlink.com.au/~maptrap/maplist.htm

Check out his lists of maps and he has a few books complete with GPS coords in that you can follow...
