I received my Satphone subsidy today after only one week after sending my application in. This should knock about $1000 off the retail price off the new Qualcomm GSP 1600 Satphone/CDMA combo. Anyone is eligible if you meet the requirements and agree to the conditions. For more info go to www.dcita.gov.au/satphone

Poor fella you...Andrew. You will have to get an
HF Radio now. Next time you get bogged it may be further out and the passengers might refuse to dig you out and then what will happen. Glad you are enjoying
Birdsville and say g'day to the flies, your family and Ruth, ofcourse. Hope you don't wear her out!!!

Willem - we got our sat phone with the subsidy. Because we are remote.
That Andrew was going to do touristy things and snuck up to the Library and used the Internet. Just checking to see what he put up -0 he took some shocking photos this a.m. and I don't trust him. Nice, but not trustworthy, you know what I mean.
