My camper battery charger has failed, so I've just bought the Projector IC5000 unit to replace it. I have 3 X 120AH Fullriver batteries in the camper, are they AGM or Gel (after reading some threads on the
Forum I'm confused) ?
The new charger has several settings for different battery types, what should I set this one on as it will be hard wired in to charge these batteries only.
Any and all replies greatly received,
Lloyd Mac

Hi Lloyd, Good choice for the charger, I use one too hard wired. Your batteries must have some markings, model number and/or type. If you can't identify the type, set the charger to "GEL" which will limit the charging voltage to 14.1V. The AGM setting will have a charging voltage of 14.4V.
Good luck with the identification.
Cheers
Jon

Lloyd.
The batteries are AGM type. Good batteries. I run two DC105-12 batteries in my Camper.
