There are very very few people who actually paid $90k for them though. Nissan couldn't shift them and then heavily discounted them a couple of years later to around $60k and in some cases less. At that price they become more acceptable and there is now a growing community of owners over on patrol4x4 who seem quite satisfied with them. Fuel consumption appears to be between 14 and 20 L/100km.

Local dealer lent me one to drive Sydney to Melbourne & back towing a 2.5ton boat for a photo shoot & it got better fuel economy than my patrol 4.2td & was a dream to drive, the cruise control did not kick out once & did not need the cardboard over the head lights not like the 4.2td as it dies in the ass if it sees a hill. Off Road would be totally different story

If only Nissan put a decent diesel motor in it. It would then be a great vehicle.
Life's great and it just keeps getting better

You said Nissan and decent diesel motor in the same sentence. LOL. I wonder why they haven't used the 3 litre V6 from the 550 Navara anywhere else? Seems like a good motor with plenty of grunt...

If I was in the position to buy one I would, best value 4wd on the market with the new pricing by far
