Ok, so I paid the 5 dollars, and followed the link to the digital download, and my system tells me it cant find a device,
I am not sure if the software will work on an IPad, however information gathered from the forums tends to make me think that it does, so if it works on an Ipad, do I need the android version of software, (which I downloaded) or the windows stand alone version,

Have you followed the instructions contained in the EOTrackMe - Documentation - Settings for iPhone and iPad?
Should be pretty straightforward.
Not sure what you are referring to with the $5.00 payment.
You need to download the UtrackMe 2
Beacon software (free) from the iTunes App Store and install it on your iPad.
Android will not work on the iPad. That version is for android operating systems such as used on a Samsung Galaxy tablet.
Windows stand alone version is for use on a Windows based PC.
You need the IOS version of software. If you follw the insructions and download via the iTunes App Store, you will get the right one.
