Ok time to buy a new UHF antenna and I am thinking towards a raised feed UHF
but I am confused two antenna the same but one says raised feed the other does not
GME AE4018K1 HEAVY DUTY 6.6dBi ANTENNA UHF CB BAND RADIO
this has a metal pipe like the raised feed ones
Benelec UHF Antenna - 3dB & 6.5dB Dual, Elevated Feed, All Terrain
ok so both are similar but one says raised the the top one does not
what is the difference
I sort of understand the raised feed are better for putting this antenna on the car wing
Thanks for the help

I had the 1018K and it was a good aerial As
well it was just a bit above roof height and when going into car parks I knew if it got in so would the vehicle.
You can also buy the whips for it if you break one for about $40

I have no idea but it has been a very popular aerial and worked as
well as I thought it should. I had it mounted on the bullbar.
Why not ask the sellers
