G'day all,
Pleased to be able to report that I passed the test and they've let me in as a Member. (I must have caught them at a weak moment).
I am now going to see if I can work out how to get a couple of photos downloaded, so don't be surprised if I yell out "HHEEEELLLLPPPP".

G'day Bradley,

Yeh, I know.....it's not an "exclusive" club anymore; now that they've opened the gate to the rif-raf. Who knows who'll be next.....maybe our abusive little mate who's name I'm not even game to say, lest I incur a mouthful of abuse from him!!!!

Cheers,

G'day Andrew,
Yeh mate, rig piccy is definitely there for all to see (a little bit dark though....just to be a bit picky myself LOLOL). Looks like a pretty well thought out set-up you've got. With the spare on the back I guess you got over 200litres of fuel capacity?

Is a bit dark but at least it is there. Might have an adjust tonight and lighten it up a little. Have about 270 litres of fuel that I can carry.
Not our camper though- (a borrowed one) - do you reckon I should buy an Ultimate?

You'll have to update your member profile. I just had a look to see if you'd said anything about extra fuel capacity and noticed you said you were saving for a camper trailer.........so who'd you pinch the one on the back of the cruiser off the??

Andrew,
We've had the Ultimate for just over 5 years now. It was 6 months old when we got it and we're very happy with it. Some minor things have worn out (eg: shockie rubber etc) but nothing that you wouldn't call normal wear and tear. I can certainly highly recommend them. We've had ours up to Cape York on one trip and around the "Top Road" from Normanton into the Territory on another occasion; plus plenty of knarly tracks around SA etc.
I know a good bank manager!!!! LOL

Cheers,

Roachie

I know what that is now - something to do with an interest discount and the Exploroz Membership card. Now I have to find 'Which Bank'

Can't believe you passed the Membership Test - if you own an Ultimate you probably couldn't afford the $50!!!! Did someone say Bank Manager - they are like Doctors and Solicitors - lower than a snake's belly! (Luckily, I am just joking guys - must be indigestion from lunch). By the way Roachie, those two Ultimates were so rich they stayed four nights. Hahahaha. Welcome officially aboard.

Thanks for your warm welcome.
Pesty told me how much you charge to stay at your fine establishment, so I reckon the Ultimate owners would have had to take out a mortgage on their trailers to be able to afford to stay 4 whole nights!!! LOL
Did they get the candle light roast dinner outdoors too or is that only for nights when there's a full moon??

Roachie

Nup, no candle light dinner for them - if they can afford an Ultimate they have to go OUT to dinner. (I did lend them my yabbie pots) The only people who have candlelit dinners are those who choose to drive 60s and people who are so mean they have to brrow camper trailers!!! Yep, the moon was full that night - so was J.! Hoot.

Well done! The Membership Exam wasn't that hard, hey? All you have to do is enter a 16 digit number followed by a further 4, your name and before you know it...LOL:)
Certainly have found it invaluable being a member and recommend all users to take the plunge. I don't profess to know much, but have enjoyed reading your posts and followups and hope I can be of some assistance in the future.

Where do you hail from?
Uploading pics are easy...if you have them on your puter already...just give us a hoy...

I'm enjoying all the BS that passes for conversation on this site and really feel as though I can contribute to lowering the tone of the whole shooting match in my own little way.
I'm here at Kadina, about 150klicks north of Adelaide.

Kadina? Is that fairly close to Port P? I used to date a girl (Julie ?) and her family hailed from Kadina...mind you, this is going back a few years (late 80's). I used to live in Adelaide until we saw the light, got converted and moved to QLD... Kadina is only a small place, no?

G'day Sparky,
Yeh mate; we're 100 klicks south of P/Pirie.
Kadina is part of what they call The Copper Triangle and has a population of about 4000 or about 10,000 if you count Wallaroo & Moonta which are close by and form the "triangle".

Thanks for the welcome mate,
Yeh, I've done a few posts and follow-ups over the past few months.

As a poor, old, office dwelling, keyboard punching, wannabe; I find I've got an opinion on most things 4x4 and camping related. You give me a chance and I'll wear you out with a whole load of marginally use-ful/less info.....LOL

Cheers,
