Hi everyone,
Does anyone know of any car-camp spots around Mt Wilson (Blue Mountains - NSW)?
I recall seeing some tents near the "Cathedral of Ferns" but not sure if there's camping there anymore.
Cheers

There a a few spots you can get cars into. On the way into Mt Wilson you will see the turn off to the Wallangambi just after passing the Bush Fire Brigade. There is a spot near the Parking area you can get into.
Other areas in the Mountains are Point Pilcher at Medlow Bath. Take the road past the AirPort and continue to the end of the road. Great views and not to many people, Only facilities are long drop dunnies and old BBQ. NO WATER.
Perrys lookdown at Blackheath has a small camping area for tents only. This is is on the North east side of Blackheath about 8 km of dirt road. Water is limited, so take your own.
Ingar Swamp is about 12 km on dirt road south east of Wentworth Falls. Take the Tablelands rd from the Highway.
If all else fails you can put your tent up in my back yard just out of Wentworth Falls
